Obverse description Letterpress print in black on plain paper with an ornate typographic border enclosing the note face. The denomination f. 25,- appears at lower center, flanked by the full Dutch-language bearer clause text arranged in multiple lines. The layout is characteristic of mid-nineteenth century colonial bank issue typography, with varying signature combinations applied by hand.
