| Obverse description | The national coat of arms of Rwanda occupies the central field, depicting a quartered shield bearing crossed tools and the national motto, surmounted by a dove and flanked by two crossed flags. The denomination '25 FR' appears above the arms in the upper field. The circular legend 'REPUBLIQUE RWANDAISE' arcs across the upper periphery, while 'INDEPENDANCE · 1961 · 1965' curves along the lower periphery, commemorating the fourth anniversary of independence. The refiner's mark 'ARGOR' and fineness '900/1000' appear in the lower field to either side of the shield. |
