| Obverse description | The national coat of arms of the Democratic Republic of the Congo occupies the central field, depicting a leopard head facing forward flanked by an elephant tusk and a spear, mounted on a base bearing the motto PAIX. The legend REPUBLIQUE DEMOCRATIQUE DU CONGO curves along the upper periphery, while the mottos JUSTICE and TRAVAIL appear on either side of the central device. The date 2023 is divided across the lower field flanking the arms, with the fineness and weight specification '1/4 oz Au 999' inscribed in the lower exergue.
