Obverse description Rectangular gold bar-format obverse featuring a guilloché-patterned field of fine engine-turned wave lines radiating across the entire surface. At center, a circular medallion bearing the coat of arms of Burundi — a lion's head flanked by crossed spears and a traditional shield — is rendered in relief. The circular legend surrounding the arms reads 'IBANKI YA REPUBLIKA Y'UBURUNDI' at the top and 'UBUMWE-IBIKORWA-AMAJAMBARE' below, with 'TRAVAIL' inscribed within the medallion. The denomination '25 FRANCS' is inscribed in the lower portion of the medallion in raised lettering. The reeded short edges of the rectangular planchet are visible at left and right.

Reverse description Rectangular gold bar-format reverse with a polished mirror field. At the top, the inscription 'INVESTMENT COIN BAR 2025' is engraved in two lines of bold raised lettering. Dominating the center of the field is a detailed effigy of the Winged Victory (Libertad), depicted standing atop a cylindrical pedestal, her wings spread and one arm raised, closely modeled after the Mexican Libertad coinage design. Below the effigy, the weight and fineness specification '1g FINEST GOLD .9999' is inscribed. At the lower portion, a rectangular cartouche bearing the Heimerle + Meule hallmark with the date '1845' and the words 'melter assayer' is struck in relief, followed by the mint name 'HEIMERLE+MEULE' at the base.
