Interlaced latticework and cross-pattern guilloche fill the central panel, while the four corner sections carry elaborate diamond-shaped vignettes with nested geometric motifs. Arabic inscriptions appear in a top banner panel and in two columns flanking the central reserve, with the denomination and payability clause rendered in Arabic script. The engraver's signature 'Georges DUVAL . fecit.' appears at the lower left. |
