| Reverse description | The large bold denomination numeral '25' dominates the central field, with the inscription FRANCS positioned immediately below. The numeral and legend are framed by a decorative wreath composed of the region's principal agricultural products, including cacao pods, coffee berries, cotton bolls, and cereal ears, arranged symmetrically and rendered in fine relief. The overall design conveys the economic resources of Equatorial Africa, with the wreath meeting at the base in a cluster of cotton flowers and berries. |

| Additional information |
The Banque Centrale des États de l'Afrique Équatoriale et du Cameroun — the BCEAEC — was itself a transitional institution, superseded by the Banque des États de l'Afrique Centrale in 1972, which is precisely why this type has such a short production window. These three years represent the final issues under that issuing authority before the institutional reorganization took effect.
