| 正面描述 | Central device features the ancient Dilmun seal motif, depicting a stylized human figure alongside an animal within a beaded inner circle, evoking the prehistoric civilization of Bahrain. The state title 'STATE OF BAHRAIN' appears in Latin script along the upper periphery, with the Arabic equivalent 'دولة البحرين' below. Both the Islamic (Hijri) and Gregorian calendar dates are inscribed in the field, flanking the central device. |

Bahrain's 25 fils denomination has been struck continuously since the early years of independence, with the dies updated to reflect successive rulers rather than any reform of the monetary system itself. The transition on this type from Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa — who ruled from independence in 1971 until his death in 1999 — to his son Hamad occurred mid-series, making the final years of the date range among the lowest-mintage strikes.
