| Beschrijving voorzijde | The obverse features the Arabic legend 'الجمهورية العراقية' (The Iraqi Republic) inscribed in a curved band across the upper field, rendered in bold Naskh script. At center, a raised circular cartouche encloses the denomination '٢٥ فلساً' (25 Fils) in Arabic-Indic numerals. Flanking the lower portion of the central cartouche are two crossed agricultural motifs — a wheat ear to the left and a palm frond to the right — symbolizing the agricultural wealth of Iraq. The entire design is contained within a fine beaded border running the full circumference of the coin. |
