| Reverse description | The reverse features a stylised architectural portal arching over a relief map of Slovakia, beneath which a euro symbol is surrounded by a ring of European Union stars, several of which are partially obscured by the map, evoking Slovakia's accession to the EU and the euro area. The circumferential inscription '25 ROKOV SLOVENSKEJ REPUBLIKY' (25 Years of the Slovak Republic) runs from the left edge around the bottom of the coin. The founding date '1. 1. 1993' is engraved below the map, and above it appear the Kremnica Mint mark 'MK' together with the designer's initials 'PK' for Pavel Károly. |
