| Obverse description | The green and blue niobium centre features a stylised double helix DNA strand at left, rendered in vivid blue, alongside three hexagonal cells arranged vertically in the field, bearing respectively the symbols of a laboratory flask, a microscope, and the Rod of Asclepius, with the inscriptions RNA and DNA identifying the central scientific motifs. A molecular chain structure extends to the right within the niobium disc.
