背面描述 The reverse depicts a traditional Erzgebirge Schwibbogen (candle arch), a semicircular decorative arched candelabra originating from the Ore Mountains region of Saxony, shown with nine lit candles rising from its curved upper edge and figures of miners and decorative foliate motifs arranged within the arch. Below the arch, a heraldic emblem featuring two miners flanking a shield is shown in the lower field, flanked by two small star ornaments. The circular legend ERZGEBIRGISCHER SCHWIBBOGEN runs along the upper rim, and the engraver's initials RE appear in the field below the central motif.

附加信息

The Schwibbogen — a candle arch traditionally placed in windows during Advent — originated in the Erzgebirge mining region of Saxony, where miners began fashioning them in the 18th century as a symbolic substitute for the underground pit lamps they carried. The form evolved from a simple semicircular arch into increasingly elaborate carved wooden centerpieces, becoming one of the most recognizable folk craft traditions in German-speaking Europe.

This coin is part of Germany's ongoing "Weihnachten" (Christmas) series, issued annually since 2021 in .999 silver. The Erzgebirge itself straddles the German-Czech border, and the craft tradition it produced is now UNESCO-listed as intangible cultural heritage.
