Aanvullende informatie

Lluís Muncunill i Parellada was the Catalan Modernista architect responsible for some of Terrassa's most distinctive industrial buildings, including the Vapor Aymerich, Amat i Jover textile factory. He worked largely in the shadow of Gaudí despite producing technically sophisticated work in his own right. This coin was issued as part of Spain's ongoing series celebrating figures of Catalan Modernisme, a movement the Spanish central government had historically treated with political ambivalence given its deep ties to Catalan cultural nationalism.
