正面描述	The Occitan Cross (Croix occitane), a twelve-pointed cross with beaded terminals, occupies the central field, surrounded by a ring of twelve five-pointed stars referencing the European Community emblem. The legend AMICALE NUMISMATIQUE DU MIDI curves along the upper periphery in raised Latin characters, while the inscription FONDÉE EN 1982 arcs along the lower periphery. Two small heraldic motifs flank the lower legend on either side. The overall design celebrates the regional numismatic society of southern France.
