Popis líce	Greek royal coat of arms at upper left, the arms of the Ionian Bank Ltd. flanked by flags at upper centre, and a vignette of Athena at upper right. The note carries printed date, place of issue (Kerkyra/Corfu), and the designations of the Royal Commissioner, Director, and Accountant below the main inscriptions. Engraver's imprint of Waterlow & Sons Ltd. appears at the lower margin.

Popis rubu	The reverse is printed entirely in green, dominated by an elaborate guilloche underprint of interlocking floral and foliate scrollwork. The bank name and denomination occupy the central field, flanked left and right by two large circular guilloche medallions each bearing the numeral 25. Serial numbers appear in black at upper left and upper right, with the manuscript prefix notation above each.
