| Obverse description | The full Jamaican coat of arms occupies the central field, featuring a quartered shield charged with five golden pineapples, supported on the dexter by a female Taino figure and on the sinister by a male Taino warrior bearing a spear. Above the shield rises a helm with mantling surmounted by a crocodile passant atop a royal crown. A scroll beneath the shield bears the national motto.
