| 裏面の説明 | A forward-facing bust portrait of the composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart occupies the central field, depicted wearing an 18th-century lace jabot and a powdered wig with side curls. Musical manuscript staves are rendered in low relief in the background on both sides of the portrait, evoking Mozart's legacy as a composer. The curved legend 'WOLFGANG AMADEUS MOZART' arcs along the upper periphery. The denomination '$25' is inscribed in the lower field beneath the portrait. |

Liberia's late-1990s and early-2000s gold miniature program produced dozens of small-denomination collector pieces under licensing arrangements with foreign minting houses, most commonly in Germany. These were marketed aggressively through mail-order channels in Europe and the United States rather than circulating domestically — Liberia was in the middle of a civil war, and the government issuing commemorative gold had effectively lost control of most of the country's territory.
Mozart died in Vienna in December 1791, aged 35, leaving the Requiem unfinished.
