Beschrijving keerzijde Central motif presents a bust-length portrait of a Terracotta Warrior from the funerary army of Emperor Qin Shi Huang, depicted facing slightly to the viewer's right. The figure wears elaborately detailed lamellar armor with studded leather straps and a distinctive topknot headdress, rendered with exceptional sculptural precision against a mirror-polished field. Facial features include a mustache and serene expression characteristic of the Xi'an archaeological finds. The portrait is contained within a raised inner border, with the surrounding field left unlettered, allowing the design to command full visual attention.

Aanvullende informatie

At 0.062 grams, this is among the smallest platinum bullion issues produced by any central bank — a format pioneered largely by the private minting sector and adopted by Liberia's issuing authority as part of a long-running series of collector-targeted fractional pieces. Liberia has no domestic platinum production and no historical connection to the metal, so these issues exist entirely as numismatic vehicles rather than instruments of monetary policy.
