Obverse description	The official seal of the Republic of the Marshall Islands is depicted in the central field, rendered in high relief and featuring a traditional Marshallese stick chart flanked by a frigate bird with outstretched wings, palm trees to the left, and a traditional sailing canoe to the right, with a radiant sun above. The date 1988 appears in two parts flanking the lower portion of the seal, above a cartouche inscribed SEAL. The outer legend REPUBLIC OF THE MARSHALL ISLANDS arcs along the upper periphery, while the national motto JEPILPILIN KE EJUKAAN curves along the lower border. The entire design is encircled by a decorative chain link border.
