| Mô tả mặt trước | The national emblem of Singapore occupies the central field, depicting a lion passant above a crescent moon and five stars enclosed within an octagonal frame, with palm fronds flanking either side. The country name appears in four official languages arranged around the emblem: Latin script reading 'SINGAPORE' at the top, Tamil script 'சிங்கப்பூர்' at the left, Chinese characters '新加坡' at the right, and Malay 'SINGAPURA' at the base. The date of issue is inscribed beneath the central device in the lower field. |

| Mô tả mặt sau | A boldly rendered, stylised lion's head facing right dominates the central field, executed in a modern graphic style with flowing, striated mane lines characteristic of Singapore's Singapura Lion bullion series. A small square privy mark depicting the relevant Chinese zodiac animal appears at the lower left of the field. The denomination '$25' is inscribed in the lower field, while the legend '1/4 OZ 999.9 GOLD' curves along the upper right periphery, confirming the coin's weight, fineness, and metal content. |

| Thông tin bổ sung |
Singapore's four-nines gold bullion program launched in the late 1980s as the Monetary Authority sought to compete directly with established bullion coins — the Krugerrand, the Maple Leaf, the Nugget — in the Asian investor market. The .9999 fineness specification was a direct answer to the Royal Canadian Mint, whose Maple Leaf had set that purity benchmark in 1982 and captured substantial Southeast Asian investment demand.
The series ran quietly and without significant mintage pressure, which is why surviving examples across the 1990–1995 span show considerable year-to-year variation in availability.
