(Translation: Elizabeth II Queen by the grace of God)
Reverse description The reverse presents a finely detailed naturalistic composition depicting a seated adult polar bear nurturing two cubs in a Canadian arctic winter landscape. The mother bear occupies the central field, one cub climbing against her chest while a second cub stands at her feet in the foreground. Snow-covered terrain, rolling hills, and coniferous trees rendered in fine detail occupy the background. A stylized decorative frame with a paw print motif borders the inner scene on either side. The legend CANADA arcs along the upper border, the date 2013 appears to the right field, and the denomination 25 DOLLARS is inscribed along the lower periphery; the engraver's initials PL appear in the lower right of the inner field.
