| 裏面の説明 | The reverse features a detailed portrait of Finnish sailing world champion Sari Multala in the right field, depicted facing three-quarters left, wearing a cap and sailing attire. To the left, a Finn-class dinghy under full sail is rendered in fine relief, with visible sail markings and water lines below the hull. The arced legend SAILING WORLD CHAMPION / SARI MULTALA is inscribed in bold raised lettering along the upper left periphery. The date 2010 appears in the lower central exergue. |

Cook Islands has issued commemorative gold in volume since the 1970s, much of it targeting the collector market with little connection to the islands themselves. Sari Multala — the Finnish canoeist who won gold at the 2006 European Championships — has no obvious tie to the Cook Islands, and her appearance here reflects the territory's long-standing practice of licensing athlete likenesses for third-party collector coins with nominal Pacific island authority behind them.
