| Obverse description | The right-facing effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II occupies the central field of this rectangular silver bar-format coin, rendered in high relief against a finely engraved background of stylized maple leaves forming an intricate mosaic pattern. The portrait, based on the Susanna Blunt effigy adopted by the Royal Canadian Mint from 2003, depicts the Queen with a simple neckline and no crown or diadem. The legend ELIZABETH II arcs along the left border and D · G · REGINA along the right, with the date 2018 appearing above the portrait and the denomination 25 DOLLARS inscribed below. |
