| Obverse description | The right-facing effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II occupies the central field, rendered in high relief against a mirror-polished black background. Behind and flanking the portrait, an elaborate Baroque-style Orthodox iconostasis is depicted in intricate low relief with selective gold gilding, featuring ornate arched niches, onion-domed cupolas topped with crosses, and richly decorated architectural elements. The legend NIUE ISLAND 2014 arcs along the upper periphery in raised Latin capitals, while the denomination 25 DOLLARS appears to the right.
