| 正面描述 | Dominated by an exceptionally detailed high-relief depiction of the Leaning Tower of Pisa occupying the central and left field, rendered with precise architectural articulation of its eight stories of Romanesque arcaded galleries. To the right, a partial elevation of the adjacent Pisa Cathedral is shown in lower relief, displaying its characteristic blind arcading and decorative facade elements. In the lower left, the diademed effigy of Queen Elizabeth II faces left, engraved by Ian Rank-Broadley whose initials IRB appear beneath the portrait. The legend ELIZABETH II arcs along the left border, COOK ISLANDS along the upper right, and 25 DOLLARS along the lower right, all in incuse Latin characters against the antiqued silver field. |

| 背面描述 | The reverse presents a dramatic high-relief sculptural composition centered on the Leaning Tower of Pisa rising prominently from the field, its characteristic tilt and Romanesque colonnaded tiers rendered with exceptional three-dimensional precision. Surrounding the tower, the field is filled with flat architectural engravings depicting the facades, arched galleries, and decorative details of the Piazza dei Miracoli structures, including the Baptistery and Cathedral elements. The commemorative inscription 650 YEARS appears in bold relief at the lower centre, flanked by the anniversary dates 1372 - 2022. The legend LEANING TOWER OF PISA arcs along the left and upper border, with 1372 - 2022 inscribed along the right border, all in Latin script against the antiqued silver field. |

Cook Islands has issued commemorative coinage under licensing arrangements for decades, with little connection to the depicted subjects beyond the contractual. This piece belongs to a wave of shaped and architectural silver issues that flooded the collector market in the 2010s and early 2020s, produced primarily for the European and Asian novelty bullion trade rather than any numismatic tradition tied to the issuer.
The Pisa campanile began tilting during construction in 1173, almost immediately after the third story was added — the soft subsoil on the south side compressing unevenly under the load. Stabilization work completed in 2001 reduced the lean by roughly 44 centimeters.
