| Beschrijving voorzijde | Right-facing crowned effigy of Queen Elizabeth II occupies the central field, rendered in high relief after the portrait by Irena Renée Blažková, with the engraver's initials IRB below the truncation. The background is dominated by the stylised outline of the Czech heraldic double-tailed lion, its body, claws, and tail curling dramatically around the entire field in incuse line engraving. The circular legend reads ELIZABETH II · NIUE ISLAND · 25 DOLLARS · 2021, with the Czech Mint mark CM and the engraver's initials also present on the obverse. |

The Czech Lion series, produced by the Czech Mint for Niue, has become one of the more commercially successful bullion programs to emerge from Central Europe in the past decade — an unusual arrangement in which a landlocked country with no currency of its own issues coins through a Pacific island nation it has no historical connection to. The 2021 half-ounce issue continues that series, its Niue authorization functioning purely as a licensing vehicle.
