Additional information

The Czech Lion series, produced by the Czech Mint for the Niue licensing arrangement, was launched in 2016 partly to fill demand left by the discontinuation of large-format Czech silver medals — collectors wanted investment-grade silver with direct ties to Bohemian heraldic tradition. The 10 oz format places this squarely in bullion-collector territory rather than numismatic, though the Czech Mint's die work on this series is notably crisper than most sovereign-licensed bullion issues of comparable size.
