| Obverse description | The sixth definitive effigy of Queen Elizabeth II by sculptor Jody Clark, depicting a right-facing crowned bust of the Queen wearing the George IV State Diadem and the Victorian Coronation Necklace. The legend ELIZABETH II AUSTRALIA arcs along the upper field, while the denomination 25 DOLLARS and fineness specifications 1/4oz 9999 Au are inscribed in the lower field. The engraver's initials JC appear below the portrait.
