| Beschrijving keerzijde | Standing figure of Helvetia facing slightly left, depicted in flowing robes with a draped cape, wearing a floral wreath crown, and extending her right arm upon which a dove alights in flight. She holds a downward-pointed sword in her left hand, with a shield adorned with a lion's head resting at her feet alongside edelweiss blossoms. A dramatic Alpine mountainous landscape forms the background. The legend SELECTIUM arcs across the upper field, flanked by the date 2024 on the right, while the inscription 1/4 OZ FINEST curves along the lower left rim. |

Selectium is a proprietary alloy developed by the Scottsdale Mint combining gold with five platinum-group metals — platinum, palladium, rhodium, iridium, and ruthenium — plus silver. The Solomon Islands has no meaningful connection to this material; the island nation's mint authority is essentially a licensing arrangement used by private mints seeking a sovereign issuer for bullion and novelty products.
Rhodium and iridium are among the rarest elements in the earth's crust, which makes the alloy composition more interesting on paper than in practice at these weights.
