The effigy of King Charles III faces right in high relief, positioned in the upper right field, partially overlapping the architectural rendering. The curved legend 'COOK ISLANDS CHARLES III' arcs along the upper border, while the denomination '25 DOLLARS' appears in raised lettering along a flat register at the base of the design. The engraver's initials 'DT' are discretely noted in the field. The antiqued finish lends the entire composition a dramatic tonal depth.
