背面描述 A highly detailed, sculptural depiction of the Hindu deity Ganesha occupies the entire field in high relief against a mirror-polished background. The elephant-headed god is shown in a frontal seated posture, adorned with an ornate mandala-patterned headdress and jewelled regalia. His four arms hold respectively a lotus flower (upper left), a bowl of sweets or modaka (upper right), one hand raised in the abhaya mudra gesture bearing the Om symbol on the palm (lower left), and an ankusha or goad (lower right). His vahana, the mouse, is depicted at his feet in the lower left field, completing the traditional iconographic composition.

附加信息

Niue has operated as a prolific bullion and commemorative issuing authority since the 1990s, leveraging a currency agreement with New Zealand that permits it to produce legal tender coins denominated in New Zealand dollars — though the "25 dollars" face value bears no relationship to actual purchasing parity. The Ganesha motif places this squarely within a long-running series targeting the Southeast and South Asian collector market, where gold coins carrying auspicious Hindu iconography command consistent demand independent of spot price.

At 3.11 g of .999 gold, this is a one-tenth troy ounce piece — a format that has dominated entry-level bullion gifting in Indian diaspora communities for decades.
