| Obverse description | The obverse is struck in the three-dimensional silhouette form of Berlin's Brandenburg Gate, rendered in gold-plated fine silver. The architectural facade features five deeply incused passageways framed by twelve Doric columns in high relief, with a detailed frieze above depicting classical figural scenes. Crowning the structure, the celebrated Quadriga group — Victoria driving a four-horse chariot — is finished in contrasting platinized silver, giving it a striking bi-metallic appearance. Inscribed across the attic of the gate are the legends '20TH ANNIVERSARY' and 'REUNIFICATION GERMANY 1990 - 2010', with the denomination '25 DOLLARS' incused between the central columns. |
