Obverse description Printed in blue ink on off-white paper by letterpress and intaglio, the face bears the royal cypher monogram "C.R." at top centre above the Fijian Coat of Arms. The text panel carries the promise-to-pay legend in engraved typography, with handwritten issue date and serial number added in manuscript, and a hand-applied "Cancelled" stamp. The note is hand-signed by the Treasurer in the customary manner of early colonial treasury issues.
