背面描述 A classically draped allegorical female figure, seen from behind, is depicted seated on a ornate bench or plinth, her head turned slightly in profile. She holds a quill pen extended toward the right, symbolizing the act of inscription and the written declaration of universal rights. To the right of the figure, a multi-line Catalan legend commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, with the date '1998' below.

附加信息

Joan Martí i Alanis served as Bishop of Urgell from 1971 to 2003, a tenure that made him co-prince of Andorra for over three decades — one of the longest-serving holders of that role in modern history. The bishopric of Urgell has held co-princely authority over Andorra since a pareatge agreement with the Count of Foix in 1278, and the bishop remains one of two heads of state to this day, alongside the French president.

Andorra's 1998 human rights series coincided with the fiftieth anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
