| Obverse description | The quartered coat of arms of Andorra occupies the central field, surrounded by ornate baroque scrollwork. The shield displays the traditional four quarters: a bishop's mitre and crozier (upper left), vertical pales (upper right), vertical pales (lower left), and a passant bull (lower right). The motto VIRTVS VNITA FORTIOR appears on a scroll beneath the shield. The legend ANDORRA arcs across the upper field, the date 1960 is divided at either side of the shield, and the denomination · 25 · DINERS · 25 · is inscribed along the lower periphery.
