Reverse description The reverse features an elaborate composition of Arabic calligraphy commemorating the 20th anniversary of the Liberation of Kuwait. The inscription records the date '26 February 2011' in both Arabic and Latin scripts. A dedicatory phrase invoking divine protection over Kuwait and its people is rendered in flowing classical Arabic script, occupying the central field. The overall design reflects the high standard of Arabic calligraphic art employed for Kuwaiti commemorative coinage.
