Описание лицевой стороны	Intaglio portrait of President Sir Dawda Kairaba Jawara, titled 'First President of Republic of the Gambia', positioned at right against a fine guilloche underprint in pastel tones. At centre, a large oval guilloche vignette carries the denomination in both English and Arabic script. To the left, an engraved scene of a traditional lateen-rigged sailing boat on a river with palm-lined banks; two facsimile signatures below, attributed to the General Manager and the Governor. Denomination numeral '25' appears in each corner within ornate cartouches, with an intricate guilloche border framing the entire face.

Описание оборотной стороны	Central intaglio vignette occupying most of the note face illustrates an outdoor groundnut threshing scene: two figures operate a mechanical threshing machine with a third attending below, set against a backdrop of trees and a river landscape. The denomination numeral '25' is repeated in each corner within guilloche cartouches, and a finely engraved border of interlaced geometric lathe-work frames the entire reverse. The legend and denomination appear in English at the foot of the central vignette.
