Obverse description Black and gray intaglio print on multicolor underprint. Central vignette presents an allegorical female figure representing Agriculture, reclining amid a composition of tropical produce including a bunch of bananas, a coffee branch held in her hand, a fruit tree, and a basket containing pineapples and a pumpkin. Denomination and issuer legends appear in letterpress within a decorated border.

Reverse description Uniformly printed in dark blue intaglio. A central oval medallion contains a profile portrait bust of Christopher Columbus facing left, framed by elaborate guilloche lacework and scrollwork. Large numeral 25 counters appear to the left and right of the central vignette, with additional denomination numerals repeated in each corner panel, all set against a densely patterned guilloche background. The issuer's name is printed in a bold banner across the top, and the printer's imprint appears at the bottom margin.
