The lower margin carries the place and date inscription SAN SALVADOR, 1o de Enero de 1929, the denomination legend VEINTICINCO COLONES EN MONEDA ACUÑADA DE ORO, and two manuscript signature lines above the imprint of the American Bank Note Co., New York.

背面描述	Printed entirely in blue, the reverse is dominated by a central oval medallion enclosing a portrait bust of Christopher Columbus facing left, encircled by the inscription BANCO OCCIDENTAL. The medallion is set within an elaborate engine-turned guilloche framework of interlocking rosettes and lathe-work panels, with the numeral 25 repeated in large figures to the left and right of the central design. The printer's imprint AMERICAN BANK NOTE COMPANY appears in small type along the lower margin.
