| Obverse description | Right-facing draped bust of George Washington occupies the central field, rendered in high relief after Laura Gardin Fraser's classic portrait design. The legend LIBERTY arcs along the upper rim, while the motto IN GOD WE TRUST appears in three stacked lines to the left of the effigy. The date 2025 is positioned to the lower right of the bust, with the mint mark (P or D) immediately below, and the engraver's initials LGF incused at the base of the portrait. |
