Obverse description The crowned arms of the Netherlands Antilles are displayed centrally in the field, flanked by the country name legend NEDERLANDSE ANTILLEN arching along the upper periphery. The Latin motto LIBERTATE UNANIMUS (Unified by Freedom) appears as a secondary legend, with the date 1969 positioned at the bottom of the design.

Reverse description The large bold denomination numeral '25' dominates the central field, with the inscription CENT positioned directly below in block lettering. Six five-pointed stars are arranged in an arc around the upper and lateral periphery of the field, each representing one of the six islands of the Netherlands Antilles. A stylized foliate or plant sprig device appears at the base of the design beneath the denomination legend.
