| Reverse description | The reverse features a boldly rendered right-facing bust of a caribou (Rangifer tarandus) with a prominent and intricately detailed rack of antlers extending across the upper field, after the classic design by Emanuel Hahn first introduced in 1937. The denomination 25 CENTS appears in two lines within the upper central field, framed by the antlers. The legend CANADA arcs along the left periphery, while the date 2023 is arranged vertically along the right, all within a beaded inner border. The mint mark H appears at the bottom of the field, and small decorative stars accent the design at the cardinal points. |
