| Aanvullende informatie |
British Honduras received its own coinage infrastructure relatively late — the colony had relied heavily on Guatemalan, Mexican, and later U.S. silver for decades before London authorized a dedicated series. The KM#17 type was struck at the Royal Mint during a period when wartime silver demands created genuine production pressures, and issues toward the end of this date range are noticeably scarcer in quantity than their early counterparts.
