Reverse description The reverse, designed by Beth McEwen, presents a quintessential Prairie landscape emblematic of Saskatchewan. At centre-left, a freight train curves along a railway track extending into the distance, with a cluster of tall grain elevators rising prominently in the background against the open sky. To the right, stalks of wheat are depicted in naturalistic detail, their heads bending gracefully across the field. The provincial name SASKATCHEWAN arcs along the upper legend, while the denomination 25 CENTS is inscribed along the lower margin. The engraver's initials BEC appear discreetly at the lower right of the central design, and a dentilated border encircles the composition.
