Additional information

Bermuda's silver proof coinage of the early 1980s was produced specifically for the collector market, with circulation strikes in cupro-nickel issued separately. The 1984 proof set was struck at the Franklin Mint under contract — an arrangement Bermuda relied on for much of its premium numismatic output during this decade before the relationship wound down in subsequent years.
