Aanvullende informatie

One of several colored circulation-format collectibles issued by the Royal Canadian Mint ahead of the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics, this piece was part of a multi-year buildup series beginning in 2007. The RCM's colored quarter program had already demonstrated strong collector demand through its poppy issues post-2004, and the Olympic sports series expanded that model aggressively — producing individual coins for disciplines ranging from curling to alpine skiing.

KM#782 is the figure skating issue. The .925 silver strikes were sold directly to collectors rather than released into circulation, unlike their base-metal counterparts.
