| Obverse description | Right-facing draped effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, wearing a pearl necklace and pearl earrings, as designed by Susanna Blunt. The legend 'ELIZABETH II' arcs along the upper left field and 'D·G·REGINA' along the upper right, both in raised Latin characters. A fine beaded border frames the entire obverse. The portrait is rendered in a naturalistic style with fine detail in the hair and drapery. A small engraver's initial mark appears below the truncation of the bust. |
