Obverse lettering ELIZABETH II CANADA D·G·REGINA 1867-1992
(Translation: Elizabeth II Queen by the grace of God)
Reverse description A left-facing woodland caribou in full stride occupies the central field, its prominent antlers extending into the upper portion of the design, drawn in the style established by Emanuel Hahn for the standard Canadian quarter. The denomination 25 CENTS arcs above the caribou, while the date 1993 appears to the right and the country name CANADA to the left. A small mint mark letter H is present, denoting the Hull/Winnipeg facility. This reverse, paired with a 1992-dated commemorative obverse, constitutes the mule combination that defines this variety.
