| Beschrijving voorzijde | Right-facing crowned effigy of King Edward VII, draped in ermine-trimmed robes of state with an elaborate jewelled clasp visible at the shoulder, engraved by George William de Saulles whose initials 'DeS.' appear beneath the truncation. The king wears the Imperial State Crown, rendered in fine detail with arches, orb, and cross. The peripheral legend reads EDWARDVS VII DEI GRATIA REX IMPERATOR, separated from the effigy by a beaded inner border. The portrait conveys a formal, authoritative character consistent with Edwardian-era royal coin portraiture. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Central field displays the denomination '25 CENTS' above 'CANADA' and the date below, separated by a short horizontal rule, all within a wreath of highly detailed maple leaves tied at the base with a ribbon bow. Surmounting the wreath at the top is a large Imperial crown, which varies between Large Crown and Small Crown types across the series. The overall composition is symmetrical and heraldic in character, with the maple wreath serving as an emblematic reference to Canadian national identity. A beaded inner border frames the entire design. The reverse was engraved by W.H.J. Blakemore. |
