Obverse description Circular wooden disc with all legends burned or branded into the surface. The central field bears the inscriptions 'CITY OF NORTH BEND OREGON' in bold block letters, with 'SECOND ISSUE' arching across the upper portion of the field and 'REDEEMABLE DECEMBER 1, 1933' below it. The facsimile signatures of I.N. Hartley, Treasurer, and Edgar McDaniel, Mayor, appear in cursive script in the lower portion of the field. The entire design is enclosed within a decorative wreath of oak leaves and acorns burned into the wood near the rim.
