备注

Arlington Hall Station in Arlington, Virginia, was a U.S. Army signals intelligence facility operating under the Army Security Agency — later folded into NSA activities. Non-Commissioned Officer messes at closed military installations frequently issued their own scrip to keep canteen revenue circulating internally rather than leaking off-post. These notes had no legal tender status and were redeemable only at the issuing mess.

Military mess scrip from the mid-1960s rarely survived in quantity. Soldiers spent it, the mess cashed it out, and most was simply discarded at the end of a fiscal cycle.
